[sims] Launcher module!!

Yes, okay, I know it is old and antiquated. Our Admin team did not move this over and they use it rarely to pull old data off (such as Exams for students that were here years AND years and years ago!).

 

I have instructions to re set this up but need to get into SystemManager DOS. How do I get into it? Never done this before..

Thanks creese - I can do that, I just need to add the workstation ID to SIMS System Manager DOS now

From a foggy memory, LanID 01 is all you will need. That is usually aready in SysMan Dos.

 

Vague memories of the old system I'm afraid.

Have you thought about contacting your LA any they hold basic student details.

Indeed but unfortunately they want more than the basic stuff apparently, and our support team want to charge me £20 to do it but won't give me the documents to do it myself.

£20??? I'd bite their arm off. It would save a lot of hassle I would charge a lot more than that as I haven't done it in years.

Creese you bet me to it! £20 is bargin, average ICT Technician is about £9 an hour and your going to waste more then a day!

 

What sort of info do you need, I think you'll be able to find it else where.
