being in the second capital city our lea who used to provide transport will not do so this year. With all thats being offered at the fair (advice, guidance, choice, infomation, etc) they could have used some of the funds they take from the schools to provide transport)

Trains are working out bout 80-90 quid, so much for the goverment wanting us to use public transport!

any body travelling from the birmingham area, there are 4 of us who want to go and wil pay petrol and more

Have you thought about coach?

2 1 way funfare tickets are £10 otherwise day return about £16 + underground ticket.

I normally take the coach.

Snowhill to Marylebone is £27.50 cheap day return.

I think the taxi from the Marylebone to Olympia was somewhere between £10-£15 (obviously that has to be done twice. :( )

It'll take longer but if you want to save money then get a bus instead of the cab - bus 27 goes from Marylebone road (2 mins walk from the station) to Olympia.

Cash fare is £2 (and you need to buy a ticket at the roadside machine) or get a pay as you go Oyster card and it costs £1. (there's a £3 deposit but you can get that back at the end of the day or keep the card for future visits to London!)

Steve (who won't use cabs in London because they are so expensive!)
