BryanDavidWilliams Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I need to make OSX move my current user folder into \Volumes\Student HD\Users. I also need new users who might log into the machine to have there folders created in that partition. I'm not sure how to do this. Any help would be great. The reason we need to move this is because we want to DeepFreeze the system files and our apps but let the kids install stuff on top of that and play around with there own settings.
BryanDavidWilliams Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Oh okay I figured out with DeepFreeze I can just use the built in utility to do this. Anyone else have a problem with trying to use ThawSpace it just hangs for 30 min plus when it tries to create one. Anyway I have my User folders now moved to my student partition everything seems good.
