Anyone else noticed that Windows Error Reporting has turned itself back on?

We disable Windows Error Reporting (or feed it back to a central logserver, depending on what's reporting the error). Just recently I've noticed Windows Error Reporting pop-ups in places where they shouldn't be reporting anything.

 

Anyone know if a recent patch has turned this back on?

Yes - it is doing it on our network and when I log in as local admin it is getting on my "nerves". Any idea how to turn this off for every PC again?

yes, I have noticed that too, but have no idea how to turn it off...waiting for genuis who could help us with this problem...

Have you disbaled it through Group Policy? If you have, have you done a RSOP to check that the policy is applying to the machine?

Forgot about this thread. iirc the service is disabled on the default image (and stays disabled after imaging).

 

I'm wondering if it's something WSUS is doing, as we've had a spate of failed .Net patches recently (now fixed).

 

Since it only affects me & PFY (only admins see it if they log in), I haven't devoted much time to investigating.
