sammy42 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 What is Lancashires policy on keeping Year 11+13 Documents. How long should these be kept.
jhothersall Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 dont know, but you could back them up on a tape for a year, or as I've done place them on a different server. Ill probs keep it on there for a year or so.
TechMonkey Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 We back them up on DVD after their last exam and it goes into storage. It's lovely seeing such a chunk of free space once they are gone.
elsiegee40 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 This document from the Records Management Society is what my school use as the basis for the retention of all things connected with school. Does your school use this or something similar? Looking at Curriculum, it looks like you need to keep it for 12 months. RECORDS MANAGEMENT SOCIETY OF GREAT BRITAIN - RETENTION GUIDELINES FOR SCHOOLS
