I went to pick up my daughter from another school (She's on work experience there) and the head's desktop was completely devoid of any icons!

 

Did someone slip a virus into an MS Update????

 

Just shows how sticking with SP1 was the right decision :)

It happened to me not here, but on another site, where I released IE8 alongside some other updates. The combination of them seems to have caused some upset, rather than the updates themselves.

Well I've had no end of problems, with most machines having the problems shown on the Westfield site. But since it has synced with the lancs wsus server, it don't seem to be cropping up. But I've had to re install ie8 on about 100 machines.
