printer access non-domain member pc

hello,

 

When i use 2003 server as print server i can access the print shares from any pc, whether a domain member or not.

 

I usually navigate to the \\server and then authenticate using domain credentials.

 

But when trying to access printers on a 2008 server, i can see all the file shares but the printer section does not display any printers, although it does to other PCs that are joined to the domain.

 

I checked the security on printers and its set to Everyone can print.

 

Anyone know about this?
