neilenormal Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Can anyone throw any light on an issue with printing the Cover Noticeboard Summary from SIMS pls? The School is saying that this print, when it goes on to a second page, does not align correctly with Page 1, so has to be cut up/folded to ensure it aligns properly. I have subsequently seen this for myself in another school where judicious use of sellotape had proved a good "workaround". The Noticeboard Summary outputs to an html file and I think it might have something to do with the "encoding" settings in Internet Explorer. We are trying to experiment with various flavours of "western european" encoding but have been unsuccessful so far.
vikpaw Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 As far as i know it works for us, with Windows XP and Office 2007, so perhaps it's a user / computer issue rather than a SIMS thing. I just found a day that went onto 2 pages, and it print previewed ok.
Sarconia Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 It works for me using Win XP, Office 2003 and IE7. It sounds quite random, I'd compare settings on a system where it does work to the one on where it doesn't. I can't really think of anything else which would be of help for this.
