Spiceworks Maximum Size installation?

What's the largest implementation has using Spiceworks as the management software? I'm looking at it for a 1250 seat installation accross two sites with about 625 seats on each. Is there anyone out there using it in this large an environment? I've heard of issues when you go above 400 seats.

 

I like the price of spiceworks vs Whatsupgold.... But don't want to try to implement something that is unusable.

I think there is a thread in the spiceworks community 50k spread over many sites I think is the largest? What u would probably do is set it up collectors on multi servers.
