Edu-IT Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Has anyone got the bandwidth monitoring to work on Spiceworks? It says: Interface Bandwidth Detection A device needs to support the Bridge MIBhttp://community.spiceworks.com/images/icons/small/external_link.gif or Q-Bridge MIBhttp://community.spiceworks.com/images/icons/small/external_link.gif for Spiceworks to retrieve VLAN information. A device needs to support the IP-MIBhttp://community.spiceworks.com/images/icons/small/external_link.gif and IF-MIBhttp://community.spiceworks.com/images/icons/small/external_link.gif for Spiceworks to retrieve interface information. How will one know whether the switch does this or not?
Spiceworks Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Hi Edu-IT: If you post your concern in the IT community, the Spiceworks users can get you an answer pretty quickly. If you don't currently have Spiceworks installed, let me know and I can pose the question for you and provide you a link to the conversation. Thanks. -Jason S., Spiceworks
Spiceworks Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 (edited) Sorry for the delay Edu-IT. Was out of the office yesterday. Posted the question about Spiceworks bandwidth here - http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/102970. You should be getting responses throughout the day. Let me know if I can help with anything else. -Jason S. Edited June 25, 2010 by Spiceworks Created discussion thread at Spiceworks Community to help Edu-IT
