French iPlayer?

Afternoon all! Hope the sunny weather isn't mocking you too much this afternoon, like it is me.

 

I got collared by one of the MFL teachers last week - hung around the staff room too long after briefing, I'm ashamed to say - and the general gist of her message was that they can't access some French TV channels they used to get (somehow) and do I know of anything similar to iPlayer/4OD etc. for French TV?

 

I don't, which is why I'm posting here.

 

So do any of you or your languages teachers know of anywhere where content can be streamed, either live or after the fact? It was French I was asked about but German would be useful as well.
