firefox_2006 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Hi I was wondering whether anyone has any positive/negative experiences with the following company? Study from home for a new career I have a chap coming out to see me on Wednesday afternoon to discuss courses etc, would be nice to know if they are any good? regards firefox_2006

Did a quick search on Google, that brought up a few threads where people have had problems, but then again people are more likely to complain than to praise. I would ask the question here at Certforums, as it's a forum more dedicated to qualifications, and the studying towards them. -Ken
featured_spectre Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 some of it seems outdated...MCSE on server 2003 (not even R2) and we are now on 2008R2.....
Kitkatninja Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 How'd the meeting go? And what are you considering studying for? -ken
speckytecky Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Having had experience of a rubbish online "IT training" company in the past I went to QA – ITIL training, PRINCE2 training, Microsoft training, technical IT training, Microsoft Office training, management training and more for server training - excellent. Sometimes they are kind to Educational IT as well and do a deal on the fee.

Buy the books and do some hard studying and save yourself the 5.5k.
moleie Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hi I realise this is quite old now, but I was just wondering if you did it or not and what you thought of them. I'm looking at doing something with Microsoft Training with New Horizons so have just been searching for advice on these kinds of courses in general. There Windows server 2008 training would be of particular use to me.
