SMART Aware and Microsft Office Apps Error

Has anyone come across an error with smart aware software where it gives the following error message:

 

SMART Aware "This document is not available because no document is open"

 

this only appears the first time you open Word.

 

Also it only appears for anybody who is a non admin.

 

We have tried reinstalling the driver from both the disk and the lastest one on the web, we have also tried giving everyone full control of the smart directory in program files.

 

We are running windows XP SP3 and Office 2007 on the machine in question.

 

If anybody could help it would be much appreciated as i am getting so annyoed with this problem now.
