Staff/Student Remote Access to Files

i'd like to give staff and student remote access to there network shares, but i don't want to / can't use RM easylink ..

 

does anyone have any solutions?

You could consider Adito but without knowing why you 'cant' use Easylink its hard to give you a solution.

We are currently deploying Sun Global Desktop. Expensive but it will do the job.

 

An alternative is available for any of your users who get E-Mail through Exchange. Do you support any users like this?

Also - we use the SMB Web Client Block through our Moodle VLE....but the Moodle needs to run on Linux.

access to files, helpdesk, owa, activesync, sharepoint, internal websites and rdp. Can also do vpn over ssl and Direct Access from server 2008 r2.

Another vote for adito, I still use the older windows version of it when it was called SSL-Explorer: Community Edition

Could anyone give me some advice on how the one is setup at Leicester Uni, as i think it's a good solution.

 

I'm having trouble with the security settings.
