bertster Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Trying to build a couple of workstations, but each prompt for the 'offline build key' dispite them both being networked. Anyone any ideas? Additionally after entering the key that I've generated on the Available tasks screen there isnt an option to 'rebuild computer using .....' just get the 'manage' option, which is blank when selected. So we are unable to build. This school doesnt have a support contract with RM!
arthur231283 Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 This happens if the computers NIC drivers are not on the build disk. To add them: Open the RMMC, expand software, right-click Drivers and select Import drivers. Then add the correct driver Now expand Computers, expand Build, select Build disks then right-click on the build disk you are using and select properties. In the Additional Drivers section click Add Drivers and add your driver. You will now need to right-click on the build disk and Generate Build disk image. Re-create your build disk and try again
sparkeh Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 This can be symptom of the RMServiceHost service failing. Try restarting the service on the server and rebuilding. 1
