Mobile phone contracts

What do people think of the HTC tatto? Iam considering that or a more basic phone like the Nokia 2730 Classic it will do e-mail. I currently on Vodaphone paying £25 a month for 500mins and 250 I just what to get a better deal now. Any suggestions?

My brother has a HTC Tattoo and he doesn't like it. It's got a rubbish resolution, and for that reason a lot of the applications on the market are not available for the Tattoo. He hates it when I say check out this app, only to find he can't.

 

If you are on a budget why not take a look at a BlackBerry? Virgin seem to have some cracking deals on for about £15 per month.

I saw the Virgin offer yesterday. Anyone know how good their coverage is? I believe they piggy-back on one of the others, but only Voda are any good around me at work.

I've seen HTC Desire (phone of the month IMHO ) as low as £20/month on Orange - you can get it at Carphone warehouse for £25/month 300mins/unlimited online

 

Or if still got a ways to go on your contract - pop in to phones4u who will give you loads of dosh to buy your old one out.

 

My wife's got the HTC Legend (Slightly cheaper/smaller) and that's fine as well

After falling from my bike in the middle of nowhere and trying to give an ambulance a location, wife wants me to get a phone thet will show me on a map where I am i.e. GPS with maps etc. Don't know much about phones so can anyone assist in which one would be OK and maybe be usefull with other apps (don't know what though!) Currently spending about £12 PAYG but would go to £15-£20 contract if needed. Seen the Virgin Blackberry offer at £15 but don't know much about it or if there are any better?

My Nokia 6370 has just been upgraded to free mapping. It is a phone rather than "all singing, all dancing" thing. Nokia are running TV ads, but I haven't paid enough attention to see how much of the range is getting the functionality.

I personally would highly recommend the Nexus one! However, i know someone who would also recommend the HTC Desire.

The Legend less so. it still runs android so top marks, it just looks a bit cheep!

Anything that runs Google Latitude will do the job however Android is flavour of the month so get one of them

 

I use it to track where my brother is on his way to my house from Ipswich.

If you're after a cheaper Android handset, have a look at the HTC Wildfire. It's like a baby HTC Desire.
