Installing programs without admin rights!

I got a text from a member of staff and she wants to install a program on her work laptop, well she hasn't got any admin rights. I have told to wait to Monday but she has said it is important! Is there a way I can round this?

nope, unless you give her the local admin password

It depends. Some setup packages can be installed under the user profile rather than into Program Files + HKLM.

Can you not put her into the Local Admins group in AD?

 

Then, once the program is installed, take her out again. This should give the requisite allowance for installation.
