Anyone found anything suitable? I have about 50 drops in a new build and the layout makes traywork a real pain in the neck (90% of the time would be spent cutting tray to fit).

I'm looking for large hooks for carrying data cable (say Erico Cablecat hooks) that can be mounted to wood and/or brick and I'm coming up empty atm.

The guttering clips, while a bit ghetto, are tempting if I can find a robust enough one.

Have a look at the CabGrip range on the cms website, anygood?

Ben

They caught my eye earlier - I have a couple of those en route for testing.

It also turns out the Cablecat range does have wood/brick mounting options (sales guy emailled over a new catalogue) - it's just not terribly easy to find them.

Update: got a CabGrip clip in the post this morning - it's pretty robust. I had concerns about the plastic hinge, but it's 2mm nylon at the thinnest part of the hinge and there's no crease to weaken it. If I clip it closed and pull really hard, I can pop it open but it's up to the job of supporting a cable run.

Probably going to go with these since a bundle will fit in a thigh pocket while working.
