distribution group question

Use Exchange 2007 ( 2010 in summer hols) had a request for an email account that parents can email with holiday arrangments ( bording school) we have 6 staff that need access to information. I set distribution group up but they dont know who is responding and actioning stuff. Only other suggestion i can think of is set up email addess instead but that means someone logging into that account so stuff might get missed.

 

Really want something in their accounts so outlook gets it but need it to flag up done or pending or whatever

 

any ideas

Create a mailbox for it and then give all the relevant staff access and open it as an additional mailbox in outlook - then theyll see when messages have been ready and actioned etc.

yes not sure why i didnt think of that as thats what we do with IT support emails now on out own accounts
