Im trying to create a logo that I have designed for a dna medical website. Problem Im having is I can not for the life of me figure out how to fill a shape with multiple random circle shapes... and be all the same size.

Am i gona have to do this manually?

Cheers

PS... im using PS CS5

Are you saying the circles need to be the same size or random? Easiest way I can think of is to create a layer in photoshop/gimp that is filled with circles (either find an image on the web or draw a few with the shape tools) then use that as a background, putting the shape you want filled on top. Add transparency layer to the top layer, then select the innards and delete them to reveal your circles...

Thank you

It looks as though I will need to do the job manually.

Basically the logo will be the earth made up of circles representing dna, 4 shades of green and four shades of blue will be used for the sea and land. The circles will also need to slightly overlap each other

@PEO:

this is a ruff concept but gives you an idea... imagine the earth covered in them

I have no imagination whatsoever when it comes to things like this webman is the imaginative one, I am the 50 year old who has used up all his imagination over the years and just sits in the corner burbling.

In fact your very lucky to have had a reply from me hehe! Burble! Burble! Burble! ;)
