Kelyan Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Can anyone help, we are attempting to run RM maths on Terminal server, the issue is that the processor utilisation just goes off the wall, if anyone could help or has experiance with this ap, we would be extremely grateful, asked are RM but met a massive wall of nothing!
Ric_ Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 I take it you don't have Citrix? Citrix gives you isolation environements so that you can throttle CPU/memory. Failing that... I'm unsure since I am unfamilar with that particular piece of delightful RM software.
Ravening_Wolf Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 You could try installing on a standard PC and checking the CPU utilisation on that. This would at least give you an indication as to whether it is environmental or whether the software just cannot cope with multiple users at once...
Kelyan Posted December 4, 2006 Author Posted December 4, 2006 hi there, were pretty sure that its not written to work in this environment and have tried throttling software like cdgs powerfuse, but havent got anywhere, worst case scenerio is that we install the ap on XP terminals and see how we get on.
