Webpages won't open

Hello - we have a set of Dell Vostro 1520s and a set of samsung p29s - on the samsungs we can open links on this page Oxford University Press | Online Resource Centre | Drag and drop activities for example 'Start questions 1-10' but can't open them on the Vostros.

 

Both are running IE8 and both have flash player installed - any ideas why this might be?

The Vostros are running Windows 7 and the samsungs XP - we've successfully opened the links on a different Win7 machine so have ruled that out.

Perhaps settings in internet properties are the cause?

 

BTW when I say 'won't open' I mean a tab opens but remains at the 'connecting...' stage and never times out.

Opens fine on my Windows 7 machine, have you tried install JAVA from java.com?

I know it sound silly but i had an issue with Knowledge box that runs on Flash but needs JAVA install to loads the popups correctly.

Thanks for that - we have Java installed yes 6.0.150 - not up to date but only by a few months
