LosOjos Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I'm getting an error when I try to run HTC Sync telling me that tlib_log.dll can't be found. Anybody else seen this and fixed it? Alternatively, if somebody could PM me a link to tlib_log.dll I'll try installing it on my machine (at a guess it'd be in "\Program Files\HTC\HTC Sync\Telecalib\") Cheers
Ben-BSH Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Have you tried an un-install/re-install? seems to be the common issue with that Telecalib DLL
LosOjos Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 I did try un-install re-install a couple of times to no avail, came in the next day and it just worked, despite the fact that DLL still isn't anywhere on my system. Hey ho, it works now so I'm not going to mess
werezwolf Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 For Win7 x64 users: I found the required dll (and others) in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Teleca Shared and ended up copying them all to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 For x86 (32-bit) users: copy the files to C:\Windows\System32 Once copied, the HTC Sync program opened without issue, no rebooting or reinstalling required. Good luck!

Good luck! once copied do you have to use regsvr32 to register the dll's ? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/249873
werezwolf Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I didn't have to do that but you raise a good point. Hopefully everything will play nice moving forward. So far I've been able to transfer files just fine, but I haven't tried doing an actual sync yet.
claudiog Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 All you have to do is update Windows Environment Variable Path in System Settings Windows 7: - Press WindowsKey&Pause - Click Advanced System Settings - Click Environment Variables - Click Path and then Edit add the following string to the end of the path (copy and paste including the semi-colon in the beginning - very important not to miss it. ;%CommonProgramFiles%\Teleca Shared - Click OK - OK - OK

It's too bad I have to also be a programmer to get my phone to work like it should.
