AVE.EXE Registry edits, what are the defaults?

Hi everyone, A friend of mine has asked me to look at their laptop. Ive found that it is a piece of software that makes itself look like a virus scanner.

 

Ive managed to remove the program following instructions online, but in the process I have also managed to disable the ability to run any .EXE files... Oh my G*D im an idiot.

 

Any help would be greatful.

and about 1/10 of the way down is an exe fixer - will fix the reg entries for you.

You are a complete life saver, I was starting to get myself worked up over this.

 

I obviously didnt follow the instructions correctly, hence the major problem.
