chrbb Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 This is driving me bananas! Trying to install abacus evolve and ICT alive and on one computer out of 50 they both fail with the message MDSE failed to install. Both standalone installations. Computer has same updates as all the others, xp pro sp3.
SYNACK Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Try installing MSDE manually first on that station to see if it works or if not whether it brings up an informative error message. Part of the log reads - Exception Address = 7C812AFB (RaiseException + 00000052 Line 0+00000000) * Exception Code = 400042ac PRINTSTACK Does that mean anything? Also just found on google, that as it's an amd triple core cpu I have no chance! Edited April 21, 2010 by chrbb
