Changing Automated Messages in GPO

Hi all,

 

Is there a way to change the automated message in GPO?

 

I have shut out Firefox, and want users to use IE only. This is due to proxy server settings not being taken up by Firefox.

 

Now that it is done, the system automatically shows a message saying that Firefox is unavailable. I would like it to say that only IE is available to browse with,, but cannot find where to do this.

 

Any help is gratefully received!

Assuming you are talking about blocking Firefox with GPO Software Restrictions, no, you cannot change the message.

Oh well....they'll just have to work it out for themselves!

 

If Sophos Enterprise was a bit more reliable, I'd use that instead....then I could deffo put my own text in.
