cookie_monster Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Hi all, due to a change to our core network and move to layer 3 I need to change the IP of my Xenserver iSCSI storage. I'm going to turn off all VM's and than change the IP and netmask on my SAN then change it on the Xenserver and then reconnect the storage. Am I likely to run into any issues? Running Xenserver 5.5 with all updates and a Sun 7110 SAN. Thanks.
Ric_ Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 @cookie_monster: It's pretty easy... IIRC I think you can even do it through XenCenter nowadays (I had to use the CLI to do it!). 1
cookie_monster Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 (edited) Ok I better take a look, I'll need to dig out the book if I do need the CLI. Thanks. Edit This looks like a useful link. http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Virtualization/Xen/Q_25078517.html Edited April 9, 2010 by cookie_monster
