Been bugging me all day ...

... apart from the whole new look kind of thing, there's something different about the site - it's just dawned on me - no adverts. Nice and clean with nothing slowing up the render, nothing in the way of the threads, just plain old posts.

 

I like it - a lot:) Shame it probably won't stay that way for long.

You know I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it! Does seem strange without the adverts. Perhaps that's what's missing

I noticed some earlier lol. I know one thing that's missing / not been reinstalled....... iPhone theme gubbins lol. It's not easy navigate on this thing now lol. Ah well I know the powers that b are running edugeek light ATM

Ads are coming back yeh, I just didnt want any possible performance issues to have ads as a factor for the first day. I was expecting someone to notice before this though

 

As for a mobile skin, one is in the works but we didnt want to hold back the vb4 site any longer and its not too bad on my phone so far.

Actually you're right, I had been trying to work out what was missing all day. I like it, even if I do recognise their necessity.
