timbo343 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Is there a way to set a PPS file as a screensaver? Thanks Tim
timbo343 Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 I looked at that but its not right, i would like to run a scr file instead of lots of pictures
soveryapt Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Something like this? PresentationPoint | MessagePoint free PowerPoint screensaver Not tested it yet, but seems promising as I'm wanting to have something a little more interesting than a Marquee with the school name .. lol ..
timbo343 Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 hmmmmm, ive create a flash file and converted to scr, then put it in a network share and it works. The only problem now is students cant access the \\server due to GPO settings... looks like a long afternoon trailing through policies.
DSapseid Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 When i created my schools screensaver i wrote a batch file that copies it down to the local machine in the folder where all the others are (cant remember where it is now!) and then edited the registry to change the default screensaver to that one.
