Becta is sponsoring the “Sustainable use of ICT in schools” category in The National eWell-Being Awards 2010.

 

Now in their eighth year, the National eWell-Being Awards celebrate the social, economic and environmental benefits of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The awards were founded in 2002 and are managed by SustainIT, an initiative of the UK Centre for Economic and Environmental Development (UKCEED).

 

The Becta sponsored “Sustainable use of ICT in schools” category is looking for innovative ICT-based initiatives in schools that raise awareness or help understanding and support changes in practice that improve efficiency whilst reducing environmental impacts.
