petectid Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Just a quick question on installation of KS3 test software. Do I need to assign the APS webserver a different IP address, or do I use the servers IP address I am installing the software onto?
CyberNerd Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 in general the server address that you install onto. I think the option is there is you have >1 NIC or the server has virtual ip addresses .
petectid Posted November 15, 2006 Author Posted November 15, 2006 Cheers CyberNerd thanks for the quick response.

petectid Posted November 15, 2006 Author Posted November 15, 2006 have people recieved the new version of the software for 2007? I think they intend rolling out updated software before Christmas.
ThatBoringBloke Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 I think they intend rolling out updated software before Christmas. Before the end of November according to the meeting I had on Monday. Expect some emails from them anytime soon!
russdev Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Right my understanding is as follows · New version of Software (APS/DPS) - End Nov/Beg Dec. (New schools will get CD and manuals, existing schools will get download via APS) I was told through that new schools might be shipped last years CD and then it wll be updated via APS but not got confirmation of that yet. New Fam - - end of this year New Practice - start of next year Russell
