The insurance claim was lodged by the test driver, not the owner of the car.

 

I thought you were normally only covered third party when driving somebody else's vehicle (with their permission) under your own comprehensive policy? Or is the owner classed as a third party?

Suppose it depends... if you're driving a car like that I'm guessing £300k isn't too much cash!

Driving something like this, I wouldn't be surprised if he was fully covered to drive anything.

 

I've always paid extra so that I can drive any car fully comp (Provided it has it's own insurance policy) - now, as I very often seem to be driving other peoples cars. Now, who's got a Zonda I can borrow?
