TLARWise Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 How long do you reckon we will need to wait until other manufacturers start producing similar projectors to the new Casio Bulbless projectors? We could do with starting to replace our current stock of projectors soon and would like to move to the new bulbless system but would like to wait until other manufacturers join the field so prices will start coming down. If we are talking months until this is likely to happen then I will wait, however if it is likely to be a year plus I will likely go for the Casios. Has anyone heard any rumours from other companies on this yet?
Tcsltd Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 a guy from Casio said the first batch of projectors that came in he suspected had been ordered by Epson and the like...but the technology is patented so it depends on when and if they can get round that!
Mattys Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 (edited) Casio think they are about 18 months ahead of competition - I work very closely with Casio on providing the right solution to schools. Edited April 7, 2010 by SYNACK Removed Unauthorized Advertising
DarrenC Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 There are other manufacturers who are developing similar products and have been for some time. I would say that within a year there will be other bulbless LED projectors out in the market. Whether or not they will be any good remains to be seen
