Hey,

 

I have been asked by the head of IT to get a quote for a couple of PC's to go at the front of each IT lab for staff to use. The spec he's been looking at is:

 

Windows XP

20" Monitor

Keyboard + Mouse

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

4GB RAM

160GB HDD

DVD Burner

512MB Nvidia G210

 

Or something similar, around £650

 

 

I've also been allowed to get myself a new laptop! (this one is only 9 years old ) Anything around £300-£350 (Windows XP, dvd writer...anything as long as it doesn't have just a floppy disk drive and heat up to unbearable temperatures by the afternoon).
