TechMonkey Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Anyone have a clue why in Moodle an X would be inserted into a link? A member of staff is trying to link to http://www.flashcardmachine.com/machine/?read_only=57439&u=MrGeldard&p=ISA" but when ever Moodle displays it, an extra X is inserted after the underscore. Go back in and no x is there. Both in the link box & the description it happens, but not in other areas. It must be code somewhere but can't work out why.
TechMonkey Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 Yep. The web link appears to be parsed wrong & the character sent as part of the URL so it fails as that page does not exist. I have narrowed it down to the combination of "_o" so it must be a reading bug in their links code. I have posted a message on their forum so we shall see.
