Windows Movie Maker Panasonic Codec sorted

Just got my ES15s cameras and thought I'll just try them out to make sure they just work with Windows Movie Maker but kept getting "unspecified error" (really useful ) when trying to import the video.

 

Anyway - 3 hours later I've finally got it working

 

Basically, computer had Panasonic DV Codec installed and it said it could handle decoding of MJPEG (Which the ES15s use) and it cant!!

 

So it needs to be removed and I've just done a WPKG package to rename it from c:\windows\system32\pdvcodec.dll to pddcodec.olddll (in case I need it back again for something else!)
