Please note that anyone wishing to post a vacancy, or post a reply in the jobs forum must abide by the following rules:

  1. Only standalone schools may post vacancies free of charge

  2. Agencies, central support organisations (such as LEA support or academy groups recruiting departments), fee paying schools or private companies must pay a fee of £25 (ex-vat) per vacancy. Please use the 'Contact us' link at the bottom of the page to get in touch with us

  3. Please try to post actual wage levels with each vacancy rather than just a grade - "DOE" (Dependent On Experience), "Negotiable" and "Competitive" are suitable alternatives where actual salary range will be decided at/after interview

  4. When posting a job please use the following format in the description field: Job Title - Location - Wage - Closes dd/mm/yy
    e.g. ICT Technician - Nottingham - £22,000 - Closes 31/12/18

  5. Adverts MUST contain a link to the website of the organisation advertising the role. Further information concerning the role and contact information may be included, especially if the role has not made it to the organisation website yet.

  6. Questions regarding an advertised role aimed at the member posting the role (assuming they are connected with it) may be asked in the thread.

  7. Please report any job where an error has been made, eg incorrect link or location, so we can quickly resolve it.

  8. Discussion of employment issues, including any concerning jobs advertised in this forum, must be posted in the Employment Issues and Advice forum. Discussion and comment is not permitted in the job advert threads.

  9. Any posts from EduGeek members not abiding by these rules will be removed an an infraction given.

  10. If you have any doubts please PM me or one of the moderators

  11. Members may post links to jobs that they feel may be of interest as long as the above rules are followed

  12. If you want a job posted anonymously, please contact @elsiegee40 with the details. She is continuing to offer to do this after her retirement as a moderator.

  13. If you extend the closing date, or change the salary, of an advertised post, please start a new thread as each new thread triggers an automatic post on the @EduGeekJobs Twitter feed

  14. Wage levels of displayed jobs may not be discussed in the forum. If the wage seems inappropriate to you then simply do not respond to the listing.

I think that just about covers it and keeps it simple :)
