Downloading SQL Database to Access

I have an SQL database on my web-server and want to be able to download it to access.

 

How do i do it?

It's a good question. Access to MSSQL is possible, but you may have to pay for something to convert MSSQL to Access.

 

Alternatively use MSSQL Express which is free

I often convert bits of a ORACLE databases back to access, as it's interface is jsut easier to think through when doing complex reporting. Especially when DISCO hates running through multiple reports to get a combined one (last time I tried it claimed it would take 32 days to run...).

 

Export it as CSV using the web interface your host should provide and then import into access.
