Which Headphones ??

I need to purchase around 100 (ish) sets of headphones for use with both our desktops and laptops.

 

Are there any kid proof headphones that have some kind of cable management with them? 60 will be stored in a laptop trolley so dont want to end up with a big mess of wires every other week.

 

any recomendations?

How about getting USB headsets? Only 1 cable should make it a bit easier for staff and students to keep tidy?

None whatsoever that I'm aware of (or at least not affordable ones)... yes i am being flippant, but TBH I think my son's secondary school has the best approach.

 

They do not provide headphones. In-the ear-ones can be bought for £1 from the finance office, or you can use your own.

Exactly what we're moving to here - the headphones get trashed through careless use and malicious damage, so we're taking them away (leaving just a handful of working ones in each room) and telling the students they can use their own headphones - let's face it, 90% of them are carrying MP3 players anyway - and making them available to buy from Admin.

 

Headphones, like pens and calculators, should be a standard part of your school bag.

In which case, we bought some from the RM/Tesco catalogue which are good - the foam covers are moulded on, not removable, and they have colour-coded speaker and microphone jacks, £7 each. We've had them for nearly 18 months now, and they still look brand new.

We purchased the sennheiser HD 201 headsets. We purchased cheap headphones before and they broke real easy and quickly. We have purchased around 35-40 HD 201 headsets and the only ones that we have replaced are the ones where one of the kids keeps chewing through the wires.
