broc Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I am getting an error when running Quarantine Manager from Edusweep 2 (latest version). The window opens, says Scanning quarantine folder 100% ... the green progress bar seems to have reached 100% too but a popup error window appears stating Win32 handle that was passed to Icon is not valid or is the wrong type. The error report indicates See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.ArgumentException: Win32 handle that was passed to Icon is not valid or is the wrong type. at System.Drawing.Icon..ctor(IntPtr handle, Boolean takeOwnership) at System.Drawing.Icon..ctor(IntPtr handle) at System.Drawing.Icon.FromHandle(IntPtr handle) at EduSweep_2.Backends.ShellIcon.GetIcon(String fileName, UInt32 flags) in C:\Users\Paul\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\EduSweep 2\EduSweep 2\Backends\ShellIcon.cs:line 63 at EduSweep_2.Views.QuarantineManager.backgroundWorkerPopulate_RunWorkerCompleted(Object sender, RunWorkerCompletedEventArgs e) in C:\Users\Paul\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\EduSweep 2\EduSweep 2\Views\QuarantineManager.cs:line 112 at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.OnRunWorkerCompleted(RunWorkerCompletedEventArgs e) at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.AsyncOperationCompleted(Object arg) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4200 (NetFxQFE.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- EduSweep 2 Assembly Version: 2.1.1.2063 Win32 Version: 2.1.1.2063 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files/EduSweep%202/EduSweep%202.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4016 (NetFxQFE.050727-4000) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml.Linq Assembly Version: 3.5.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.5.30729.1 built by: SP CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml.Linq/3.5.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.Linq.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 3.5.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.5.30729.1 built by: SP CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/3.5.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. bizzel Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 This should be fixed in the latest build which I'll be releasing next week. Sorry for the delay - do let me know if you continue to have the issue.
