Ambient Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Hi I've got 1 single computer on our network of 300+ which isn’t showing in WSUS (it’s a brand new one belonging to my technician). I have an identical computer to his, which I made a RIS image from...so that he could build his with it (and this is where I think the problem started) I've had times in the past where I’ve had to delete one or 2 specific WSUS related Reg keys in order to get the computer to "check in"...but for the life of me I can't remember which ones...and searching both this site and Google gives me inconsistent results (and I don’t want to delete the wrong on) Any ideas on which one it is?
Robot Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 In HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate SusClientId (delete) PingID (delete) AccountDomainSid (delete) then reboot. 1
