Our school is involved with Classrooms for Kenya - building new classrooms for schools in Kenya. Part of The Africa Project from The Weald School, Billingshurst, West Sussex

 

they visit there and the head teacher came over here a couple of months back. A few of our teachers are going out there on friday with 5 or 6 brand spanking new Dell Vostro Laptops

We used to send our old equipment off to various charities but then they all started to charge us! Budgets are tight as they are.

@glennda If you've ever got need for any help with classrooms for kenya with regard to water, my father-in-law is a serious water fundi, based just south of Nairobi. He's a useful man to know for things like boreholes etc.! Just drop me a PM if it comes up
