Bought a wonderful new machine and when trying to RIS the machine i come across the below error.

"The operating system image you selected does not contain the necessary

drivers for your network adapter"...

The machine is all but the same as ones we previously had built (and created) the image from, but obviously the company have put a different network adapter in there.

I try to run our image and the above message comes up, i have the driver disk and have copied the drivers into the ris image file under drivers and tried this as well with no luck...

Upon doing the old google searches i read of a hotfix, has anyone done or used this hotfix before to sort this issue? or anyone any advice on how i get this machine to actually build =S

Many thanks in advance :D

There are a couple of places to put the driver files and you need to in some cases modify the .inf file (thinks its inf) to get them to work with RIS. There are many threads on here about integrating drivers into RIS so if you search on here you should find some more threads about drivers and RIS. (I would post more for you but I'm on a train back home and the internet is iffy
