Editing name in Moodle

Hi all

 

I think I am being incredibly thick here .. but how do I stop users editing their name in Moodle and their user profile?

 

I prohibited editing profile in the system role permissions but to no avail!

 

Help appreciated, cheers

I'm pretty sure this is in the role settings.

 

>Administration>Users>Permissions>Define Roles

Users > Authentication - then manual accounts or whatever you are using. There should be an option to change the boxes to Unlocked, Unlocked if empty or locked.
