[ms office - 2003] Cross curriculum ideas for Excel

I'm just putting a proposal together to radically change the way we teach excel here. I'm recommending a lot more emphasis on cross curricula activities. I've come up with some of the more obvious one but has anyone any more unusual ideas? This for Y5/6/7.
