Just had my first problem with Dropbox :(

Got called to a school where they couldn't print and found server C Drive full!

I thought they must have sent a lot of big pictures to the printers but it wasn't that - it was a cache folder in c:\docs and settings\admin user\app data\dropbox

it had about 2.9GB in it (main dropbox folder is on d drive - its running at 7G at the moment)

So as quick fix I uninstalled Dropbox and got printing working again

(yes - I know I can move spooler to another drive and I should increase C drive space but this is about dropbox :) )

I've come back to my norm Fri am school and it has same 2.9G in the c drive cache.

Just a heads up for anyone else using this - I'm off to see if there's anything that can be configured to restrict the cache

Right - I think I know what's happened.

I recently (2 days ago) renamed my main dropbox software repositry folder from packages to mydpackages (so I can tell which folder I'm looking at in the title bar when copying to/from local server)

I think Dropbox cache's this for 3 days https://www.dropbox.com/help/121 (presumably treats like a copy and deletion) in case I want to change my mind or something.

I could delete the cache but I'll think I'll just wait till monday and see if it sorts itself out. :)

regards
