Edu-IT Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Is it possible to remove and add a new wireless preferred network through some sort of script or executable, rather than having to manually go and input the information each time?
SYNACK Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 If you want to use the command line you can use the netsh interface to do this Netsh Commands for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) in Windows Server 2008 In Vista it does not include private wireless key information though even with an import/export so this must be entered each time unless you use a third party product to set the networks up but this looks to have changed for the better in 7. Here is a tutorial on both the GUI and command line way to do this in 7: Easily Backup & Import Your Wireless Network Settings in Windows 7 :: the How-To Geek Simple Method to Export Wireless Network Profile – Windows Vista
