Haux Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 (edited) Hi fellas, My laptop Power adapter is 100-240V 1A and require's a micky mouse power cable. I've found a Mickymouse power cable but it's 250V 2.5A, will this work or could it cause problems with my laptop's power adapter? The laptop I'm trying to power up is a Acer Aspire ONE Netbook. plexer Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 As long as the power supply you wish to use is rated above the original psu then you are fine you'd run into potential problems if it was rated lower. Ben
crc-ict Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Yes, the 250V 2.5A rating refers to the maximum voltage and current carrying capabilities of the cable for carrying power between the wall outlet and the mains adaptor for the laptop.
