Hi,

 

I am new to SharePoint Server 2007, i have just built one on a Server 2003 box. I have got it working but i would like to change the skin i think it is called so i can have rounded corners and things like that. Are these skins available freely?? or is there a site out there which would help me.

Hi,

 

SharePoint 2007 comes with a set of MasterPages and Themes, If you would like round edges etc that you may want to have a look at the different masterpages available to you by going to:

 

Site Actions > Site Settings > Modify All Site Settings > Master Page (look and feel)

 

Of the top of my head i believe the 3 you would be interested in are - BlueBand "BlackBand" "BlueGlassBand"

 

If you want to keep the default sharepoint masterpage, then you can change the colour by selecting a new theme.

 

You can modify these default masterpages to suit your needs, just be careful and make sure you have backups as small changes in the wrong places can break the masterpage.

 

oh, and look out for core.css
