I'm getting a blank page with an Xamp icon in the address bar in Firefox, IE8 and Opera.

blank white screen here (at home) using smoothwall express 3/advanced web proxy.

I get a login prompt box here, behind squid 2.7

No problem here using Network Guardian 2008. Admittedly it is a slow loading page.

 

EDIT: Actually, I get a blank page from the login link. Need to investigate further, but I suspect there is a non-standard reply which the proxy will balk at.

Yeah, I (and they) suspect it's a Squid-specific thing. I was trying to test whether it was a SW Squid thing or a general Squid thing - 2.7 seems to handle it ok.
